We’ve already shown you our fair share of Aventador videos including films of Lamborghini’s top dog being assembled in a museum, tearing up the Vallelunga race track and even a virtual promo clip. But truth is, we never get tired of checking out Lamborghini’s newest supercar, if not in the flesh, then at least on video. And we imagine neither do you.
The newest film to come out from Sant’ Agata shows the entire process of the Aventador’s conception - from a sketch on paper through CAD models and the stitching of leather by hand, to the assembly of the fabulous V12 and the honing of the carbonfibre parts… But let’s not say anymore – just follow the jump and watch it for yourself.
When you are driving in remote areas in foreign countries, you never know what the road ahead is going to throw at you. In the case of Jon Olsson, a Swedish skier with a knack for superfast and exotic vehicles, what lied ahead at a border crossing between Greece and Turkey during the Gumball 3000 was more like a riverbed than a road…
Despite the fact that Olsson’s Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce (or SV for short) wasn’t exactly designed for these kind of road conditions, the Swede accepted the challenge and successfully passed the water crossing without any problems.
Continuing our video finds on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, here is a film from EVO magazine’s encounter with the brawny Italian supercar at the Vallelunga race track near Rome in Italy. After jumping into the driver’s seat and onto the circuit for a few quick rounds, EVO’s Harry Metcalfe concludes that the Murcielago’s successor is a “real game changer” and possibly the “best super sports car in the world right now”.
Follow the break to see Lamborghini’s V12-powered Aventador LP700-4 on the track, and then weigh in with your own thoughts in comments section below.
You may remember the international media launch of the Lamborghini Aventador held last month in Rome. There were so many videos coming from Italy's capital that we didn’t know where to start from. And guess what? It ain’t over yet as we have one more video, one far more interesting. Among the many events related to the Aventador launch there was also a display inside the “Chiostro del Bramante”, a contemporary art museum located in the historical center of Rome.
Entitled “La Forza del Toro” (Italian for “The Force of the Bull”), the exhibition consisted of a Lamborghini Aventador and five V12 engines from different periods of time. Nothing out of the ordinary so far, except the fact that builders of the 16th century building erected it without anticipating that a 2.03-meter wide, 4.78-meter long supercar would one day have to come inside…
Good news for those of you that just can’t get enough of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, the new V12 supercar from Sant’Agata. After the media presentation of the jagged nose Raging Bull model that took place on the busy streets in and around Rome, Lamborghini gave members of the press a chance to get behind the wheel of the Aventador at the Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi racing circuit, which situated some 20 miles (32km) north of Italy’s capital city.
Hop the jump to check out all four videos of the latest Lamborghini supercar doing its thing on the racetrack and don’t forget to turn up the volume to hear the thrilling sounds of Sant’Agata’s 700-horsepower strong 6.5-liter V12 engine.
We've only recently brought you a host of videos from Lamborghini's presentation of the Aventador LP 700-4 in Rome, but we’re convinced you won’t mind us showing more of Sant’Agata’s exotic creation. This time, two new and eye-catching short films of the Aventador surfaced online. The official videos show a pair of LP 700-4s taming the Eternal City's scenic streets as well as the winding countryside roads outside the Italian capital.
So buckle up, turn up the volume and head over the jump to watch the white and orange Aventadors enjoying life in their natural habitats.
The hype surrounding the spanking new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 has yet to calm down, and the Italian firm’s decision to bring more than half a dozen examples of the V12 supercar down to Rome for a media presentation, only adds fuel to the fire.
Luckily for us, there were plenty of by-passers willing to film this unique gathering of Aventadors in the Eternal City. Even though the LP 700-4 adopts the familiar aircraft-inspired design from the limited-run Reventon, Lamborghini’s latest creation is one of those cars you just can’t get your eyes off no matter how many times you’ve seen it. Watch the videos from the Rome presentation right after the jump.
Whether you’re a diehard Lamborghini fan or just get excited about exotic supercars in general, you’ll find that the new Aventador LP 700-4 is one of those vehicles that turns heads and accelerates heartbeats faster than lightning. Just in case you can’t get enough of the 700-horsepower Lambo, you might want to click over the jump to watch the latest video release from the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based automaker. Read more »
All too often, Pontiac Fiero-based replicas are simply horrible, to say the least. But, once in a while, a truly unique build hits the internet forums like this LS3 V8-powered Lamborghini Miura wannabe. Dreamed up by the owner of Chop Top Fiero in Machesney Park, Illinios, the so-called Fiura (no need to explain that) has been carefully developed over a period of three years and it’s the mother of all replicas using Fiero underpinnings.
Part of its awesomeness is due to the fact that Archie, the man behind the project, went to enormous lengths to make it as accurate to the original as possible, but without spending a fortune.
If you have the patience to read all 19 pages of the thread on Pennock’s Fiero Forum, you’ll learn that Miura parts aren’t exactly cheap nor abundant, so Archie did a lot of fabricating and scavenged all over the internet for suitable donor parts.
He also thoroughly modified the Fiero chassis and built a custom body out of fiberglass. This kind of dedication is a testimony to the fact that true passion has no limits.
Check out the extensive gallery and videos below to see the Fiura come to life.
