It has been three years since we first told you about a new supercar venture from Poland (see here). Many had expressed doubts as to whether the newly formed company, then named Veno Automotive, could pull it off and create the country’s first supercar model. Fast forward to today, and the Polish company, which is now called Arrinera Automotive, presented the first real-life prototype of its yet to be named supercar model.
While to a lesser degree than what the original sketches from 2008 implied, the prototype Arrinera features an edgy styling and certain details like the shape of the headlamps and front air vents that are all very similar to Lamborghini’s Murcielago / Reventon series.
German sportscar tuner, JB Car Design has upped the ante on the Lamborghini Murciélago with its new Bat LP 640 performance and styling package that will cost buyers a little over €88,000 [for the full tune] or about the same as a brand new 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera in Germany.
The firm's engineers first turn their tuning attention to the Italian supercar's aerodynamics and looks. Limited to just 75 pieces worldwide, the new appearance package is inspired by the Reventon and consists of a contoured front bumper with additional side air intakes, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, carbon fiber headlight covers, side skirts, rear bumper with side air outlets and carbon rear diffuser.
The company also adds a two-piece carbon fiber rear wing, LED lights and three-piece 20" alloy wheels.
JB Car Design also gives the Murciélago's interior a makeover with a combination of leather and Alcantara surfaces, carbon fiber trim, a new steering wheel and an available high-end sound system with additional subwoofer and amplifier.
Performance modifications include a two stage engine kit with 710HP or 750HP along with a custom exhaust system and sport catalysts.
The first car went to Lamborghini of Las Vegas in Nevada.
In addition, 4 Lamborghini Reventóns are in the process of being delivered to Singapore. However, whether they will be registered will have to be considered due to the fact that while the car itself costs S$2.1 million, registration can cost up to S$5 million.
Car #3 was sold in an eBay auction and was delivered to a buyer in California. It currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.

On November 20, 2008, Lamborghini announced the delivery of the last Lamborghini Reventón to a British customer of the official Midlands dealer, Lamborghini Birmingham. However, CarsUK's later report disputed the official claim, and revealed that the car #20 was delivered to Lamborghini Houston, as were two other cars. This here is the Lamborghini Cnossus, a design study for a supercar concept named after the ancient Greek city of Cnossus (Knossus) on the island of Crete. The eye-catching Cnossus was designed by Russian student Victor Filipchenko with the help of his Portuguese colleague Nelson Simoes as part of their final thesis project at Italy's Scuola Politecnica di Design.
The designers claim to have been inspired by the Lamborghini Countach, though it is evident that the edgy styling of the limited production Reventon special also played a role in the design of the Cnossus Concept. You can check out the rest of the pictures and share your thoughts on the design of the Lamborghini concept in the comments sections right after the jump.
